About the COHRI FMSCA Course and Curriculum

The FMCSA curriculum is part of COHRI’s continuing education program.   With this curriculum, the FMSCA regulation course will educate medical examiners on multiple topics within 13 different training modules on the new FMSCA regulations.

Objectives

These high-quality training courses engage DOT medical examiners in an interactive and focused learning experience, and will help medical examiners become more knowledgeable about DOT regulations and driver medical and physical qualifications for safely operating commercial motor vehicles (CMV).  Medical examiners can utilize the curriculum to prepare for the exam set by the FMCSA to be listed on the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners. Topics include: the medical examiner’s role, driver medical history and examination, testing, certification, and reporting.
